Alexander House Hotel
Dating back to the 17th century, Alexander House was once the home of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley and author Mary Shelley. The estate now features 57 individually designed rooms and suites, a two-bedroom private residence called The Gatehouse, and the Utopia Spa, which includes outdoor hot tubs and a barrel sauna.
Food and drink are central to the hotel experience. Alexander House includes the 2-AA rosette brasserie-style restaurant, Reflections, which has a courtyard for al fresco summer dining. The Main House also contains a Champagne Bar and the South Drawing Room, where afternoon tea is served in traditional style.
