The Tapestry by Hilton York Elmbank is a boutique 19th-century mansion in York, home to one of the UK's finest and most complete collections of Art Nouveau design in the UK still surviving today. Its original stained glass, hand painted murals, ornate fireplaces and intricate stencilling were created by George Walton, a contemporary of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Today, that history is combined with individually styled bedrooms, the Peacock Bar and Leethams Brasserie, all within walking distance of York city centre. As part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, it has character and individuality of an independent boutique hotel, backed by Hilton.
